Baked Yams with Streusel Crumbles
Before heading to Lee's family Thanksgiving dinner this year, he made sure to prepare the one side dish that was a must at their feast!

Ingredients
Yams
5-6 yams
3 eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Bourbon
- 1 tsp vanilla
Strussel
- 1/2 cup soft butter
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
Let's Get Started
Yams
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Peel Yams, cut into chunks and place in a medium size pot of water
Bring to a boil and cook until soft
In mixer with paddle attachment and all all yam ingredients
Blend until smooth
Pour yam mix into casserole dish
Strussel
Using mixer with paddle attachment, blend butter, pecans and brown sugar
Add flour and mix, blend mildly
Sprinkle streusel topping over yams and bake for 40 minutes
